Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What are the intended reporting requirements, if any, to parents/guardians regarding the standardised assessment tool that schools can use twice a year with children in Years 3-10, which the Ministry of Education has issued a request for proposals (RFP) on?

Hon Erica Stanford: There are currently no new requirements for reporting to parents and whānau planned. Schools and kura should continue to use good quality assessment and aromatawai information when reporting on student progress and achievement, in line with Regulation 21 of the Education (School Boards) Regulations 2020.
