Teanau Tuiono to the Prime Minister: What advice reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents, if any, has the Minister or any member of their Office received or sent that informed the decision to abstain on the recent vote at the U.N General Assembly on the resolution to condemn the trafficking of enslaved Africans and the transatlantic slave trade, listed by agency, title and date received?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters relating to my Prime Minister portfolio. Advice relating to the U.N General Assembly on the resolution to condemn the trafficking of enslaved Africans and the transatlantic slave trade is a matter that falls within the Foreign Affairs portfolio.
