12254 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is unable to provide a breakdown of current Full Time Equivalents for each new policy initiative funded in previous Budgets. MPI does not record which initiatives each staff member is working on, as they can work on multiple initiatives at the same time. The range of staff contributing to initiatives is constantly adjusted in response to the different requirements for each initiative.
