12250 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Statistics: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I am advised that funding for the following Budget 2022 new policy initiatives ended in June 2023: • Securing the immediate and long term sustainability of New Zealand’s official statistics • Iwi-led data collection for 2023 Census • Delivering for, and with, iwi, hapū and Māori The remaining Budget 2022 new policy initiatives have been incorporated into broader work programmed and it is not possible to identify the number of FTE working on the Budget 2022 initiatives in isolation.
