Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Summary of Initiatives sets out the Tertiary Education initiatives that were funded through Budget 2022. This is publicly available at: B2 Wellbeing Budget 2022 - A Secure Future - Summary of Initiatives - 19 May 2022 (treasury.govt.nz) There are 2 Full Time Equivalent staff at the Tertiary Education Commission that are currently working on the Apprenticeship Boost Initiative. Funding for the five remaining initiatives addressed cost pressures and did not include any associated Full Time Equivalents.
