12222 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Transport: Has any work been done on the transport impacts to the surrounding communities by the potential tolling of Woodend Bypass Motorway and if so, what is the impact on Tuahiwi?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes. NZTA's assessment identified potential diversion effects on nearby areas, including increased demand on Revells Road which provides access to Tuahiwi. NZTA is working with Waimakariri District Council and iwi representatives to mitigate the impacts.
