Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that The Department of Internal Affairs is not currently undertaking, considering undertaking, or planning to undertake a functional review of Local Government. The Simplifying Local Government and Systems Improvement work programmes are reviewing relevant functions of the Local Government system.
