12214 (2026). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Would professional firefighter crews be prioritised over volunteer crews at National Fuel Plan's phases 2, 3 or 4, if so why?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that at all phases of the National Fuel Plan, Fire and Emergency New Zealand will prioritise life supporting services, regardless of whether there are provided by career or volunteer personnel.
