12207 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Resources: For each of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, how many, if any, Full Time Equivalents are currently working on these initiatives, broken down by individual initiative?

Hon Shane Jones: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment does not currently track staff numbers in this way. For their Briefings to Incoming Ministers, MBIE undertook a one-off manual exercise to calculate staff working in the operational and policy areas by portfolio.
