12192 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: How many school busses on Ministry of Education school bus routes run on diesel; expressed as a number?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education does not have direct visibility of how many school buses run on diesel, as vehicles are provided and maintained by its contracted bus operators or by bus operators contracted directly through schools via bulk funding agreements. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 12193 (2026).
