12154 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: What is the total of payments made to the official members of the Energy Competition Taskforce since its inception, if anything, broken down by financial year, inclusive of the current financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that no payments are made by the Task Force to the official members. The Energy Competition Task Force is a vehicle for collaboration between the Electricity Authority and the Commerce Commission with MBIE as an observer. Each organisation bears the cost of their own members of the Task Force.
