12137 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: What is the total expenditure to date, if anything, on the power bill comparison website “Billy” that the Electricity Authority has launched?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as at 28 February 2026, the Electricity Authority has spent $1.89m for the development of the power comparison website Billy. In addition, the Authority has spent $0.35m of operational costs to support the creation and launch of the site. Separately, existing Authority funding has been allocated to support consumer awareness and engagement for Billy.
