12107 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister for Rural Communities: What briefings, aide-memoires, or other information, if any, listed by title and date, has the Minister received regarding the impact of potential fuel shortages caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on rural communities?

Hon Mark Patterson: Minister McClay is leading the Government’s primary sector response to the conflict in the Middle East. I have not received any information or advice to date from the Ministry for Primary Industries on the impact of the war at the Strait of Hormuz on rural communities. I have been verbally briefed at meetings with MPI officials.
