12106 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for the Environment: What is the Ministers expectation if Chief Executives and the Minister cannot agree on a savings and performance plan for their responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 11932 (2024) as it relates to Performance Plans (previously Savings and Performance Plans) and phase two of the Fiscal Sustainability Programme. I also note that it is my expectation that officials provide free and frank advice, regardless of any disagreement.
