12090 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many days of helium reserves, if any, are currently held across the New Zealand public health system for use in MRI machines, broken down by hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that helium for MRIs is supplied directly to hospitals by manufacturers. As such, Health New Zealand does not hold helium reserves. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 12089 (2026).
