12087 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many days of medical oxygen reserves are held across public hospitals, broken down by hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand districts hold varying levels of medical oxygen reserves in bulk liquid form and in cylinders. As of 2 April 2026, Health NZ held a total of 19.66 days of bulk liquid oxygen in reserve. I am further advised that Health NZ suppliers indicate that as bulk liquid oxygen is manufactured in New Zealand, there are no anticipated supply disruptions.
