12059 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: For the Sport Integrity Commission a restructure effective 1 September 2025 resulted in two people leaving the Commission because of their role being disestablished, i.e., were made redundant. Five further vacant roles were affected by disestablishment. The Sport NZ Group is carrying out a limited restructure which will impact one team. Two positions will be affected: one role will be removed entirely, and another will shift from being remote to based in Wellington. These changes are scheduled to take effect in late April 2026.
