12056 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: When does the Minister expect their responsible agencies, if any, to implement the Initial Baseline Exercise?

Hon Shane Jones: As part of the Budget 2024/25 programme, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) was asked by the Government to find savings of 7.5 percent per annum. These savings will take effect from the financial year starting 1 July 2024.
