12049 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the most recent restructure EECA undertook was in April – May 2025: - 16 roles were disestablished - 4 staff were made redundant - 3 staff were redeployed into fixed term roles I am further advised that the most recent restructure to take place at the Electricity Authority were changes to its Engagement and Communications functions in June to July 2025: - 1 role was disestablished - 6 roles had minor changes (with incumbents remaining in those roles) - 3 new roles were established.
