12036 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Disability Issues: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha, that 33 roles were affected during the Ministry’s most recent restructure on 15 April 2025. This included 13 roles that were disestablished, 12 roles that had reporting line changes, and 7 roles that had title changes. 1 role had a reporting line and a title change.
