Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Media and Communications: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Entities within the Media and Communications portfolio often review operations to ensure they are functioning effectively. I am advised that the most recent restructure was Television New Zealand (TVNZ), which was completed in December 2025. Information on roles affected can be found in Annual Reports and relevant Select Committee responses. The number of roles affected cannot be shared, to protect the privacy of impacted individuals.
