12033 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Attorney-General: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?
Hon Judith Collins: Crown Law’s most recent restructure was the Strategy and Corporate Group Restructure 2026. 27 roles were affected through the process, the impact ranges from disestablished to minor changes (for example, change of reporting line).
The Parliamentary Counsel Office's most recent restructure was the creation of a permanent Drafting Development team affecting nine employees. This restructure did not result in any redundancies, or reassignments as all nine staff were confirmed in their existing roles.
