11980 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: I refer the Member to the attached table, showing the most recent restructure at the Ministry of Education, taking effect between 2 February 2026 and 2 March 2026. I am advised by Education New Zealand that the most recent restructure involved the disestablishment of two roles, effective 27 June 2025. I am advised that the most recent restructure at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority a total of 15 roles were affected. Of those, 15 were disestablished and 13 established. I am advised that, on 16 March 2026, the Education Review Office undertook a limited restructure that affected two roles.
