11978 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Defence: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: NZDF: Two change processes were initiated in 2024/25. 1)The NZDF Workforce Savings Programme (WSP) was established in October 2024. Through this process 516 roles were disestablished, of which 271 were filled and 245 were vacant at the time. It also resulted in 275 new roles being established. 2) The NZDF Cyber Change programme affected seven roles. Ministry of Defence: 25 March 2026. One part-time role was disestablished
