11976 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the most recent restructure to take place at Customs was the Border Executive Board Organisational Change, with the new Border Executive Board Secretariat structure taking effect on 1 January 2026. Nine roles within the Border Executive Board Secretariat were impacted by the restructure. Six were disestablished and three had changes in reporting line. Five of the disestablished roles were vacant when the new structure took effect on 1 January 2026.
