11971 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What is the most recent restructure, if any, to take place in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how many roles were affected, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that the most recent restructure to take effect was the change to the Biodiversity Heritage and Visitors Business Group, as follows: decision document released on 11 November 2025; new structure took effect from 2 March 2026; 27 positions disestablished; 51 new positions established (which included 11 fixed term positions being converted to permanent positions); and net increase of 13 positions. There were no redundancies due to this restructure.
