11789 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Does he accept the Auditor-General's recommendation that all declined emergency housing decisions should be peer reviewed by a manager before being issued; if not, why not?
Hon Tama Potaka: The Ministry of Social Development has existing assurance arrangements which include escalation to regional managers and national office who review declines for families with dependent children and other vulnerable clients.
