11754 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Statistics: What specific roles, by title and unit, were created at Statistics New Zealand in the year to 31 December 2025, if any, and when were each of those roles created?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Stats NZ that 185 roles were created in 2025. I refer the Member to the table attached for a breakdown by role title, type, date and business unit. Roles that are not funded further that 30 June 2026 are fixed term or contractor positions, therefore there is no cost to dis-establish these positions. This is also my answer to written question 11753 (2025).
