11752 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Revenue: What specific roles, by title and unit, were disestablished at Inland Revenue in the year to 31 December 2025, broken down by the date of disestablishment, any redundancy costs, and the number of functions that have since been transferred to another agency or contracted to external providers, if any?
Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise that in the twelve months to 31 December 2025, Inland Revenue disestablished three roles:
• RD #2016 Customer Service Administrator (August 2025), Customer & Compliance Services - Individuals
• RD #2043 Deputy Commissioner Enterprise Design and Integrity (March 2025)
• RD #2044 Deputy Commissioner Enterprise Services (March 2025)
A total of 51 people were in the Customer Service Administrator role at the time of disestablishment, of this group 11 people were successfully appointed to other roles across Inland Revenue.
A total of $1,567,197 in redundancy costs have been incurred to 31 March 2026 for people affected by these roles being disestablished. No functions were transferred to another agency or contracted to external providers.
