11745 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: When does the Minister expect their responsible agencies, if any, to implement the Initial Baseline Exercise?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency located within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through a Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not a Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 12156 (2024).
