Hon Chris Bishop: Yes, Cabinet has considered two papers related to changes to the Resource Management Act in order to provide more flexibility for Auckland Council’s Plan Change 120. The first titled "Changes to the Legislative Requirements for Auckland Council’s Plan Change 120" was considered on 16 February 2026. The second titled "Resource Management (Auckland Housing) Amendment Bill: Approval for Introduction" was considered on 30 March 2026.
