11688 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: Did the Minister consult with any Māori health organisations before deciding to remove the lowered bowel cancer screening age; if so, which organisations were consulted?

Hon Simeon Brown: I requested advice from Health officials on lowering the screening age for bowel cancer to support delivering access to timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that the Ministry consulted with a range of agencies in the development of its advice.
