11670 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to Replies 8823 and 8830 (2026), when in 2025 did NZTA take action to close the vulnerability that enabled the fraudulent conversions; and was any remedial action taken between the initial detection in February 2025 and that closure?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 11429 (2026). I am advised that once the cause was understood, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) began the work to provide improved guidance and interim requirements to address the issue.
