11666 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: Which of the new policy initiatives in the Minister’s responsible Vote for Budget 2022, if any, does the Minister consider to be poor performing as identified in Cabinet Paper CAB-23-SUB-0490?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency located within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the functional Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery through a Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not a Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the Member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 12060 (2024).
