Hon Tama Potaka: As Associate Minister of Housing (Social Housing), I did mean ‘developed’ rather than ‘development’. Initiatives set up or piloted through the Homelessness Action Plan 2020-2023 such as the Rangatahi Support Accommodation, Rapid Rehousing and Homelessness Outreach Services continue to be delivered. The Government is focused on delivering better solutions for those in acute housing need and the commitment to reduce the large-scale and long-term use of Emergency Housing. This includes taking immediate actions such as implementing a fast-track for families in Emergency Housing to access more secure housing.
