11633 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Immigration: What advice, reports, briefings, analysis, aides-memoire, or any other documents, if any, has the Minister or any member of their Office seen about New Zealand's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) that was adopted by the Human Rights Council at it's 57th session.

Hon Erica Stanford: I was consulted on a Cabinet paper, considered in March 2024, which discussed the upcoming (April 2024) United Nations Human Rights Council Universal Periodic Review (UPR), and approved the report to be presented at that review. I received an update on work to develop responses to the recommendations received at that review in my weekly report dated 29 May 2024, and was consulted on the Cabinet paper, considered in August 2024, which approved New Zealand’s response to the review’s recommendations.
