11598 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Will increasing transparency through public access to fishing footage play a role in protecting ocean ecosystems and promoting sustainable fisheries management and if not why not?

Hon Shane Jones: Decisions relating to any exemptions from the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) for camera footage will be made by Cabinet after public consultation closes on 11 April.
