11595 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Is he concerned that his proposed fisheries management changes, particularly increasing commercial involvement in quota management and privacy protections for onboard monitoring cameras, would significantly decrease transparency in decision-making and if not, why not?

Hon Shane Jones: Decisions relating to any exemptions from the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) for camera footage will be made by Cabinet after public consultation closes on 11 April.
