11569 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What consultation, if any, was undertaken with the Problem Gambling Foundation in the development of the new Online Gambling Bill?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I have been advised that the Department of Internal Affairs has an ongoing relationship with the Problem Gambling Foundation (PGF) and has regularly discussed online gambling during the course of its engagements. The Department and PGF will continue those discussions over the coming month as the Online Gambling Bill and associated regulations are progressed. I have also met with the PGF, and other providers of gambling harm services, to discuss the Online Gambling Bill.
