Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October – December 2023 on ‘Reporting on the performance measures agreed in the accountability documents for Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora’ under section 5.1 ‘Performance reporting’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand have continued to report on the performance measures agreed upon in the Statement of Performance Expectations (SPE) document, including during the October - December 2023 quarter. Each measure in the SPE is associated with a priority action outlined in Te Pae Tata: Interim New Zealand Health Plan 2022.
