Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that any fiscal impacts of the Oranga Tamariki (Repeal of Section 7AA) Amendment Bill are likely to be minimal. Oranga Tamariki will need to update practice policies, guidance, training materials and information on the website to reflect the change, as well as work the change through with its partners. There may also be costs to Oranga Tamariki making necessary changes to managing strategic partnerships and reporting under section 7AA to ensure that the benefits of these functions are not lost.
