11480 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Transport: What collective agreement negotiations, if any, will be due to take place in the Minister's departments, if any, during the 2025 calendar year, listed by date, union, and roles affected?
Hon James Meager: I am advised that: Maritime New Zealand will negotiate with the Public Service Association with regard to remuneration only, in 2025. Negotiations are scheduled to commence in May. CAA has the following Collective Agreement negotiations due to take place during the 2025 calendar year: Date: Current MUCA expiry 3 April 2025. Agreement: Aviation Security Service - Team and Shift Leader – Collective Employment Agreement. Unions: Multiple Union Collective Agreement - Public Service Association (PSA), National Union of Public Employees (NUPE), Etu Incorporated (E Tu). Roles affected: Aviation Security Team Leader, Aviation Security Shift Leader. Date: Current MUCA expiry 3 April 2025. Agreement: Aviation Security Service – Collective Employment Agreement. Unions: Multiple Union Collective Agreement - Public Service Association (PSA), National Union of Public Employees (NUPE), Etu Incorporated (E Tu). Roles affected: Aviation Security Officer, Aviation Security Officer – Load Assistant, Behavioural Detection Officer, Explosive Detector Dog Handler. The current PSA collective agreement at TAIC ends on 1 April 2025 and TAIC representatives are meeting with the PSA to discuss a new agreement. All staff except for manager roles and HR are within coverage.
