11474 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: What collective agreement negotiations, if any, will be due to take place in the Minister's departments, if any, during the 2025 calendar year, listed by date, union, and roles affected?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that MBIE has recently concluded collective bargaining with the agreement having been ratified with Public Service Association (PSA). MBIE is currently in bargaining with the National Union of Public Employees (NUPE). The unions initiated bargaining on 3 January 2024 and 2 April 2024 respectively. There are no other collective negotiations expected during the 2025 calendar year. The coverage of both agreements includes the majority of MBIE’s permanent and fixed term workforce, except employees in HR Advisory roles, and senior leaders (determined by salary band).
