11468 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Small Business and Manufacturing: What was the total cost, if any, of Andrew Bayly's ministerial visit to Australia broken down by flights, other travel, accommodation, incidentals, and any other spending?

Hon Andrew Bayly: The Department of Internal Affairs is required under legislation to make publicly available, aggregate Ministerial travel and accommodation expenses on its website, on a quarterly basis. The latest Ministers’ Travel and Accommodation expenses quarterly release can be found at Ministers expense releases - dia.govt.nz. Previously released Ministers’ international travel expenses can also be found at this link. The Ministerial Services business group within the Department processes payments and expenses related to international travel. Due to the timing of third-party invoicing, all expenses related to international travel may not be finalised. The Department will process expenses as they are received and report them in the upcoming quarterly release of Ministers expenses. The next release for Ministerial expense is scheduled for 23 May 2024.
