11458 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Justice: What action, if any, has been taken to progress the Victims of Sexual Violence (Strengthening Legal Protections) Legislation Bill?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: On 21 March, the Government reinstated the Victims of Sexual Violence (Strengthening Legal Protections) Legislation Bill I have made Ministry of Justice advisors available to support this Bill at Select Committee. I understand officials have since provided an initial briefing to support the Justice Committee as they consider the Bill.
