11425 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What collective agreement negotiations, if any, will be due to take place in the Minister's departments, if any, during the 2025 calendar year, listed by date, union, and roles affected?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) has a current Multi-Union Collective Agreement in place with three unions that expires on 30 April 2025. These unions are the Customs Officers Association, the Public Service Association, and E tū. I am advised that the three unions have formally initiated for bargaining of a new Multi-Union Collective Agreement to commence, and bargaining is scheduled for 10/11 April 2025. I refer the Member to the attached appendix which provides a list of positions affected by the upcoming collective agreement negotiations.
