11417 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What do “the right Governance arrangements” look like as the Minister recommended in Cabinet Paper CAB-23-SUB-0490?

Hon Nicola Willis: The right Governance arrangements are those which support the Government to achieve its fiscal goals. The Cabinet Expenditure Control & Regulatory Review Committee was established in January 2024. This Committee will lead the Fiscal Sustainability Programme, and facilitate collective Ministerial ownership of its goals.
