11411 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What collective agreement negotiations, if any, will be due to take place in the Minister's departments, if any, during the 2025 calendar year, listed by date, union, and roles affected?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that there will be two negotiations occurring this year as the Department’s two collective agreements expire on 2 April 2025. In both cases, the union involved is the Public Service Association. The Tier 5 (staff) collective agreement covers all individual contributor and supervisory roles that report into a Tier 4 manager, with minimal exclusions (e.g. Human Resource Advisory positions). The Tier 4 (manager) collective agreement covers all manager-level positions that report to a Director (including some Principal Advisors), excluding Human Resources and Employment Relations Managers.
