11403 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: Will the Minister support NZ public service adoption of the Open Contracting Data Standard, and if not, why not?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am supportive of the continued development of system wide procurement data that meets common data standards and enables meaningful aggregation, analysis and reporting of government procurement. I am advised that the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment publishes procurement data from the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) on a quarterly basis in formats consistent with the Open Contracting Data Standard.
