11402 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Further to Reply 8863 (2026), does he accept that the number of retail partners who received a compensation offer below the establishment fee they paid, and the total aggregate shortfall across those cases, constitutes information of genuine public interest given that those partners are members of the public who relied on a government-owned enterprise; and if so, will the Minister direct NZ Post to provide that information?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the member is asking for information relating to contractual matters between NZ Post and retail partners. This information is commercially sensitive and therefore would not be appropriate to share.
